Summer Session Practices

As the demand is rising, we are now offering practices on Wednesday and Sunday nights throughout the summer.  Wednesdays will be led by Coach Tyler Faust and Sundays by Coach Riley Graber. These sessions will consist of high-quality technique, hard drilling and some live wrestling.

Wednesday nights will have two practices with one for our Peewee and Novice wrestlers and the second for Elite/High School skill level.   Sundays will be a single group with a minimum of 2 full years of experience to attend.

Times:  Wednesday - Peewee & Novice 5:00-6:15pm & Elite/High School 6:30-8:00pm
Sunday - 5:00-6:30pm Elite & High School (for wrestlers with minimum of 2 full years experience)
Duration: June 2 - August 28
Fee: $100 for one day a week or $160 for BOTH

Participation in the summer session includes free access for all registered wrestlers to the facility, mats and workout equipment over the summer, with an adult present.  Access is limited to times outside regularly scheduled practices and private events.  Please check our calendar page for the up to date facility schedule.

*Practices will not be scheduled during our three- day sleepover camps.
**We reserve the right to move participants to a division that best fits the wrestler and their ability.

There are two divisions for Wednesdays, Peewee/Novice & Elite, so please be sure you register for the correct program.

A great tool for deciding the best program for your wrestler is the USA Wrestling Core Curriculum found here: https://www.usawmembership.com/usa_wrestling_core_curriculum/1

An Elite wrestler would have nearly all the Folkstyle Level 1 items mastered and knowledge and understanding of Level 2.

*Mastered means that if they are shown a move through instruction, they can demonstrate the move with minimal assistance.  All wrestlers will need fine tuning but they should already have the ability to actually complete the skill.
